BOOK DESCRIPTION

As you are first drawn in to The Heretic, Dr. Reuther is missing, and the Religious Police want to know where he is.

When Captain Shelmo arrives at the professor's office, he encounters a mystery that gets stranger by the minute. The professor isn't there, but still manages to make calls from the empty room Shelmo is standing in.

One of those calls is to one of the professor's precocious students telling him a package will be arriving at his back door. In the package are notebooks detailing the startling conclusions Reuther has distilled from ancient religious texts, along with handwritten instructions to contact his stepdaughter.

Together, they discover that the professor is searching for a truth bigger than the religion they were taught to believe, but more surprisingly, that his search has led him to travel through other dimensions.

Will Reuther find the truth he now believes, or will he die trying? Is this seminary professor really a heretic, or does the government have another, more sinister, motive for finding Reuther?
