ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sandy Clendenen lost her husband and best friend in 1999, after nearly twenty-one years of marriage. Sandy’s grief process was lengthy and complex. She felt stuck in layers of unresolved grief.

Sandy filled many journals with her thoughts and feelings. A review of these journals several years later revealed insights into the grief process which Sandy is now committed to sharing with other grievers.

Sandy received her Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1992. She also received advanced training in hands on healing. Prior to her marriage she attended seminary and served as pastor of a church.
