BOOK DESCRIPTION

From the hassles of air travel, being a good samaritan that nearly gets arrested, constantly defending her life to her critical mother, and meeting her ex-husband’s girlfriend, to attempting to have a social life when sorting through the freak show parade of choices, Deborah Hamlin is a woman on the verge and with her latest book, she is here to tell you all about it!

Chock full of hilarious anecdotes, My Optimism Is Killing Me, is a collection of more than 40 stories ripped from the pages of Hamlin’s life. With a brash, irreverent voice, Hamlin invites readers to laugh out loud as she attempts to balance her work life, her mom life, and her love life.

For a woman who is afraid of spiders, and whose driving misadventures have her careening into a snowy ditch and crashing through a garage door, finding humor in the face of destruction in the only way to survive!
